Michigan fans in general would probably not welcome the hiring of Ferentz, however, because he is only 3-6 against his top rival Iowa State, a team far below the level of UM's nemesis Ohio State, and Ferentz is coming off of a highly disappointing 6-6 season that recently concluded with an awful loss on Senior Day at home to MAC also-ran Western Michigan.

what is everyones obsession with ferentz? No one here is happy with 3 years in a row with 10+ wins...now they want ferentz who cant even get iowa to a bowl game? are you kidding me?
