He’s still getting paid his buyout from Mizzou, so the pay raise isn’t as big of a deal for him. He’s working with someone he knows after getting fired at Mizzou. Sometimes guys just want to stay where they are. Move on.

Well I hope he says no a 3rd time

He played many walkons and yeah we got clobbered down the stretch with injuries but he produced two All Americans including one a walk on with one arm half the season. When he gets more depth on his D they’ll be really good.

Not to LSU
Yes he has.
He’s not leaving his good friend Pittman to join a coach that has a short tenure left.

You guys can keep repeating that, but it won’t make it any more true.

45 ppg and over 500 ypg in Arkansas’ final four games LSU just fired this coach, why go back down that path? This
In his defense, he had walk ons playing corner not two 5 star all Americans like Pelini had......

Coaches are saying it. LSU DC is normally one of the most coveted jobs in college football but not right now.

I'd take him over many other people being proposed on here. Hopefully LSU makes a run for him until he tells you no.
Didn't stop Aranda from coming despite knowing Miles was getting shite canned soon. Didn't have the personnel for his scheme either yet he made it work. Money talks. Not much risk involved when you're guaranteed your contract. You don't have anyone to recruit against in the state and you know talent won't be an issue. Not exactly career suicide even if Orgeron gets canned. He does a good job he's not going anywhere as DC like Aranda was retained. If they do he's whatever is left on his contract richer.

You very well may end up being right. But saying he has already told LSU no is just not true.

There is a possibility we are totally full, but likely to be around 76-79. We can only have 81 due to NCAA.
That will depend on underclassmen who leave in the portal. It will be interesting to see how that goes after the DC hire through the end of spring practice. Hopefully everyone stays and you are right about the numbers.
