I wouldn't be happy, but he's not a scrub. Fedora is a Hugh Freeze, IMO -- he'll probably win, but I don't see him ascending the mountain and running the best program in the country.

Before Fedora, I want Mike Gundy, Kyle Whittingham, Gary Patterson, Pat Fitzgerald and, yes, Bobby Petrino to tell LSU 'no.'

If Fedora is the best LSU can get ... yeesh.

Fedora is NOT a solid 3rd option. If Saban left Bama, would they consider Fedora a solid 3rd option?? I think not.

But I'm sure you saw Saban winning the NC when he was hired

Yep. And just think. According to some O was going to actually happen until last Saturday. I can't even fricking fathom that.

When all the chiite happened and Miles was fired I did not disagree that O MIGHT be a good fourth or fifth option if our top 3 candidates fell through. After reviewing what has happened and taking into account how weak the competition we dominated (and realizing the flaws that Ole Miss and Arky has this season) I would take 20 candidates at least before getting to O's name!

Fedora is like a younger version hire of Les.
Fedora runs a successful spread offense. Les ran an unsuccessful pro style dinosaur offense.

Between Fedora and O, I'd take Fedora within a nanosecond of additional thought.

Well that's obvious.

I have said all along that Fedora was my top choice. Noticed him along time ago based on what he has done at a basketball school under probation. I honestly think he would be a better hire than any of the other candidates.

I'm with you. And if we can't land a big dog, Alleva probably needs to go. He probably needs to go anyway. But I'm not going to throw a fit over Fedora. I would have if it had been O.

I think I'm gonna throw up.

On the bright side, I'll spend a lot less time on this site and save a bunch of money.

It won't ever get to Fedora. O is higher on the list than Fedora.

I don't understand people that want O over Fedora. Fedora isn't my top choice but he's a hell of a lot more proven than O is.

Screw fedora, and screw whomever that would be responsible if he was hired.

I definitely don't dislike fedora and would be okay if that's who we end up with.

My excitement levels...

Chip Kelly - 10
Jimbo/herman - 9
Petrino - 8
Fleck - 7
Fedora - 6
O - 2
