he beat Stanford and no other good team.
He has beaten 4 teams with winning records. Southern Miss who is 5-4, Arizona who was 8-5 in 2013, Oregon State who was 7-6 in 2013m and Stanford who was legitimately 11-3
But lets ignore what he did at Ole Miss, and that offensive game plan he had against Alabama.

It would have been reasonable to suggest that if LSU won out that he earned the job. Now that running the table is off the table, we can continue to woo Jimbo, Herman as our top 2 guys. You inquire with Petersen's agent as well.

honestly , nothing really- if he were not on staff when CLM was fired and then made interim- he would not get a 5 second look
Bottom line here, is he is pushing the right political buttons but he has to back it up by running the table in a convincing fashion and then will still have some marketing work to do
