A buddy of mine who is a big CheriO debate about Ensminger, Sullivan, even O and he always speaks to their “experience”, but if it’s mostly bad experience does that qualify you to lead a team to a high level of success? Saban used to always say football is a “What have you done for me lately?” kind of world. So when I look at someone like Gilbert and see that he was at these 3 schools and successful at each one with a whole new personnel and opponents each year I say this guy appears to be qualified! Then you tell me Ensminger was fired for the second time after his second 2 year stint as an OC 20 years ago, I say “I don’t think he’s qualified!”
So can we quit with this experienced bullshite! My mom’s made potato salad for 40 years and it still sucks! My wife tried a recipe a year ago and I’ve loved it the 20 times she’s cooked it over the past year! My mom might be more experienced, Butt I don’t eat her potato salad!

Ask him if he voted for Hillary. Her experience with politics vs Trump's was no contest.

If he says no, you win.

If he says yes, you can disregard anything else he says and buy him an "I'm With Her" t-shirt.

Have you learned how to do your job better over the last 20 years?

Has O? Everything he has done so far says no.

Well, I'm not a fan of the Ensminger hire, but I can't say O hasn't learned anything from his last stint. He went 9-4. Not great, not terrible. But also, a lot better than he did at Ole Miss.
But, I will say, once a control freak, always a control freak. He may have learned enough to mitigate it and be successful, but it's definitely caused some fricking blunders thus far (see: Matt Canada). We'll have a larger sample size by the end of next season to know for sure.

I would say his record this year is less to do with learning from his mistakes and more to do with playing with much better talent and easier schedule.

Agreed. Next year we will have a true SEC type schedule. Next year will be the year to know whether or not this experiment has any life

You don't understand what qualified means. You are confusing it with high ability.
