What has Aranda ever done really?
He had a good defense in 2016 but after that, he never reached top tier again. He had some good aspects to his defenses but never on a wholeistic level.
His recruiting is suspect. Can he out recruit Saban, Kirby or Kiffin? Maybe but who can really say?
He’d have the benefit of being in Louisiana where the talent is deep but those other coaches would be combing it hard.
He’d need a top tier OC too. We have lots of offensive talent here and we’d have to convince them that we’re not just a defensive geared team.

I’m just here to say frick ESPN. Their entire product outside of sports broadcasts has been complete garbage since they became an arm of the social justice movement.

Aranda with Joe Brady coming back in the same role as OC, Five star qb walker howard coming to be the next heisman, and you hire some good recruiters to your staff.

ESPN is utterly freaking clueless...they are literally guessing and have no insight into the LSU program under Scott Woodward.
