I'm not sure about this.
Spread teams seldom have good defenses because that only practice against spread offenses. It is very difficult to prepare for more common offenses if your team runs a true spread.
The same holds in reverse, but if you play 12 games and only see 1 or 2 spread offenses, it is less pronounced of an issue.

Especially in this case.. it's Tuesday night during post-season... TV wise, who is really going to scoop them if they just wait for Michigan to give them the actual news before they start blabbing a bunch of speculation as fact....

I think he's been fired 2 or 3 times today. I blame UM for this not ESPN
