Kyle decided he’d rather be a husband, father, coach at Ruston and play a couple rounds at Squire Creek with $40m in the bank
Yep. And coaching at LSU was a “bucket list” item.
Being a position coach is a long grind and doesn’t really leave you any time for anything else. Most coaches deal with it because it’s part of putting in dues to move up, but he wasn’t looking to move up really.

According to another poster in this thread, Kyle may be staying.

Wouldn’t mind this at all if E-Rob decides to go to Nebraska with Rhule

It was said in local radio that Kyle Williams stepped in to help the program. It was more than he wanted for full time.

Let him go to Nebraska and freeze his huevos off and be looking for a job again in 12 months.
Being that he's played at Penn State, I'm sure he's used to it. He's from up north and probably enjoyed being back home.
Also, there's a chance that things weren't entirely "done" and didnt like it being put out there. Someone leaked it out there that it was.

Oh well. Needs us more than we need him. Could come here and prove himself with elite talent after failing at Cuse, but no big loss.
Should drop a bag and bring Eric Henderson home

Wonder if they can get Cain back? He’s killing it with Broncos.

Any DLine coaches with strong New Orleans ties? I’d rather a guy who is good at development, but if there’s one that could also help some in recruiting would be an advantage.

Thought this was pretty obvious when he left BR without an official announcement

David Blackwell from Missouri? Missouri was ranked 16th rushing defense.

Elijah Robinson is an a-hole. We should tell Kyle Williams to stick around.
