I'm hoping that UNT wins the conference championship game and makes the playoffs. It would be a lot of free advertising for the Pokes.
As for him taking players, their star RB is from Shawnee, which is only an hour from Stillwater.
The UNT DC is the son of a former OKST DC, and his brother played for OKST.

Universities should start negotiating clauses in coaches contracts to either prohibit or penalize coaches for interviewing with other programs during the season.
Signing MOU’s or even definitive contracts while still employed and in the middle of a season elsewhere should be grounds for damages beyond a defined buyout.
Imagine the potential losses UNT faces now with their head coach leaving while sitting 10-1 and on the brink of a championship and the CFP.
Millions of dollars in revenue potentially lost because of no fault of their own. They may be getting a buyout, but the potential losses are much higher than that. And it sucks for the fans.
This needs to be fixed ASAP
