Dude no one uses the search and all we're getting is the same threads over and over. This is the worst managed board on TD. People are starting new topics for nothing.

Ensminger doesn't want to be OC. He did it because it needed to be done but prefers position coach.

Considering he inherited a scheme one third of the way into the season, I thought he did a good job with what he had to work with.

Even if he goes back to being a position coach, you know you have that card in your pocket if something goes bad with the new OC. Moreover, you have an assistant who has the perspective of being an OC who can provide some valuable feedback.

I would be ok with him having a try at OC full time, but if he doesn't want the responsibility, then you make another place for him. Either way, you still have a valuable resource at your disposal.

First off i said he "probably" dosent want it, He's almost 60 and hasn't been a OC in 10 years pretty safe assumption... And reason three you don't promote Ensminger if you can get Kiffin ...now stop being a douche

Agree with all of this. He did a good job considering the position he was in. Who knows maybe he decides he does want it but when O asked him to be the interim he made it clear at that time he was not interested in the full time OC position.

I understand it, but its purely hypocritical

How is it hypocritical to say that we are hiring a head coach that needs elite coordinators and then say that our current OC isn't elite? The statement had nothing to do with one being more deserving of their position than the other. You're a typical Rant retard.
