My money would be on UCLA. An opportunity to stick it to USC every year for what they did to him.

nothing means nothing. The fact is that LSU, Florida, Ole Miss are not the ones talking. It's all just rumor and speculation. Kiffin has 3 options.
Stay or go to LSU or Florida. He sent his family to see how they like the areas. That's how recruiting goes. Candidates do not go where the spouse and family don't want to be. We don't know if his family came back from BR and said that place sucks or the same for Gainesville. Even if LSU had the best offer he isn't coming if the family veto's it. Same for Florida and the same if they told him they want out of Oxford. The only one who really knows is the agent at this point and they are not going to tip their hand. We will know when we know and it will probably be someone we are not even really talking about.

He and Sexton will slow play this and leave someone, possibly us, holding a big bag and no coach entirely too late into the coach search season.
Hes a good coach but theres other fish in the sea. Cut bait.

Why do people act like he’s Sexton’s only client? Sexton sole motivator is money.
He knows the next time LSU or UF open one of his clients will be on their lists, and that contract will be worth more than this one. He’s not stupid. He isn’t pissing on the toes of two major programs. He’s trying to get Lane the best contract possible. Sexton doesn’t give a shite about making fools of anyone.
Lane, on the other hand, couldn’t care less.

It is interesting.
He also keeps repeatedly in interviews referencing that they are on a good run. That runs like that don’t happen very often.
It’s like he’s preparing for it to be past tense.

This.
In fact, the more Lane fricks two of the parties over, the better it is for him. Less time to find a quality coach, big disadvantage in recruiting, NIL, etc.

Sounds like he will leave after the season and the playoffs
This would make more sense but I have a very hard time believing that he would leave even after the playoffs. Thats a big play.
