Wasting your time my fellow TD posting friend. I'm not even sure why there is one.

What a stupid comment. His statement was, gimme Saban or Kiffin or give me death and you think that he doesn’t know any other names? I think most of us feel the same way as he does, so what?

Whatever coach LSU hires I will support. I have my preferences but if it’s Drink I will not be some dumbass who writes stupid emails.

I think most of you are wrong. Just going after Saban and Kiffin is lazy and a recipe for underachievement. It would be a sure sign that the AD is only seeking to win the press conference and either not capable, not willing, or not self-confident enough to do the leg work to find the actual best coach for us.

Everybody thinks Kiffen is making a move. I think Sexton is setting his market value for Ole Miss.

He would be a good hire. LSU fans on here have set themselves up for Kiffin/Saban or nothing. No one is winning a title at Mizzou. Drink beats who he is supposed to and is great at evaluating talent. There is never any nonsense around his program.

Drink would not be that bad of a hire. He is the only coach in SEC in the last 20 years to take an unranked preseason team to a NY6 bowl. He then followed that up with Mizzou's best recruiting class ever. Give the guy a break...he's doing very well at Mizzou and could do great things at LSU. He's not my top candidate, but we would be a good hire. Your post is way overkill.

It honestly reminds me A TON of hiring Les Miles.

Had success at a lower to mid tier P5 job.

Les beat some OU teams at peak stoops but other than that just had solid winning records at OSU with no other ranked wins.

Drinkwitz beat a top 15 KSU team and top 15 UT team.

He’s been on the easy side of SEC scheduling but it’s mizzou.

If I had to pay another SEC coach to jump ship though I’d make Heupel say no first. (Yes I get the ceiling on Tennessee should be different than Mizzou but both make the same amount of money-$9 million)

ETA-drink may be a bit of a dork but he certainly doesn’t come across as lazy and is also relatively young
