Either OU extends Riley or he is 100% on the table.

If Oklahoma wants to keep Riley they'll extend him and that'll be that.

One thing this board knows is that LSU has a lot of money going into this hire. OU has to extend or that dude is gone.

They aren't going to just say "Oh Riley is staying". This is a business and money talks.

Either OU releases a new contract for Riley or that dude gone.

They will probably give him an extension and raise close to what the LSU offer is and he will stay

You can see LSU’s footprint in who they had on their list or have contacted.

Franklin, Tucker, and Aranda are all on the verge of extending and raises. All announced. If that were the case with Riley, wouldn’t they have announced it already and why not?

It’s been said many of times that LSU hasn’t even reciprocated Napiers interest in the job.

Wow solid insight.

So either Riley signs contract extension with OU or he’s open to talking? Wow you really nailed it but

Not really insight so much as discussion on why Riley is coming to LSU.

Its not just about an extension for Riley. Its about raises for his assistants, increase in support staff, and upgraded facilities. Its not about a few million for the coach, its committing to a different way of doing things from the university in regards to its football operations. Riley knows what he needs to compete in the SEC once they get there and he wants all of that now.

This seems logical - where is the extension. Only the extension for LR will dowse the flames and smoke.

If it's not at least $100 mil, fire will continue to burn.

They are almost 1billion in debt! They can’t match LSU offer!
