If Woodward delivers either Fickell or Campbell it’s a home run! They’re young, hungry and driven.

Riley or Aranda.

There, fixed it for you.

I understand that Iowa State's program is historically bad, but Campbell averages over five losses a year. I'm a bit leery on his abilities.

2016 Iowa State 3–9
2017 Iowa State 8–5
2018 Iowa State 8–5
2019 Iowa State 7–6
2020 Iowa State 9–3
2021 Iowa State 4–2

Now calculate how many losses Saban, Miles, and Orgeron averaged before coming to LSU.

Don't really want another Miles or Orgeron, especially Orgeron. 2019 was awesome, but aside from that season we have been below avg.

That first year skews the numbers a bit..but even so..those numbers look pretty similar to Saban’s at Mich St.

I was leery about Orgeron and Miles as well. Glad it worked out, but nobody viewed them as can't miss hires and similar results are not guaranteed.

When we hired Saban, the status of the program was not the same as it is now and expectations were tempered.

If the assumption that we are a top 5 coaching destination is correct, Campbell wouldn't be at the top of my list.
