I dont undetstand why some of you cant comprehend the potential benefits of having a homegrown coach completely dedicated to the school. Who has anything like that right now? That would be an incredible advantage and is the main reason everyone should be supporting the current coach.

This thread should be stickied. Just accept it. O is the guy.

List of things that don't make a college football team championship caliber:

Its very clear to me that he intentionally did a bad job at Ole Miss and assistant at UT to help LSU. He is 6-1 in his last games coached at USC when he was trying.

How is that working out with Johnny Jones?
Posted on 9/28/16 at 12:41 pm to adamb2151
Its working out pretty well for Ole Miss with Freese.

You dont spend $13M on a buyout and then try to save money on the new hire. That would be dumb.

Based on what in O's history tells you this.
There is no indication that O would be a good HC. LSU needs a proven X's and O's HC.

Asked in other thread too, if LSU hires Coach O full time, would LSU fans regret firing Les?

Okay, troll identified. Carry on.

Im not trolling. This guy is the best choice. Anyone else is going to struggle to adapt. O is the way to keep working parts of the program working while trying to improve on problem areas.

what an interesting, novel topic of converstaion
Posted on 9/28/16 at 3:13 pm to Rou Leed
Nobody has long term upside like O if things go really well this season.
Posted on 9/28/16 at 3:17 pm to John Cena
I hope everyone agrees and this becomes the consensus john cena. We are not getting any big names because the program is run poorly. Would be lucky to get someone as qualified as O.
Posted on 9/28/16 at 3:19 pm to Captain Crown
He really is. You will agree eventually after everyone turns us down.
Posted on 9/28/16 at 3:19 pm to Rou Leed
you're trying too hard for what it's worth. maybe next time slugger
Posted on 9/28/16 at 3:22 pm to John Cena
You ought to figure out why you hate Cajun people and think they are incapable of performing in high level jobs bigot.
