Wow, they scheduled that flight quick.

Orange County is close enough to San Diego.

Or maybe Brandon is going back to Hawaii.

Maybe Hoke works out who knows....but once JH and Les passed, being a UM man should no longer have been the #1 factor in this decision.

1210 AM's Buddy Songy just reported this mere seconds ago. Guess Buddy Songy lurks on Tiger Droppings.

This is actually more worrisome than hiring Hoke.. Kiffin or neweasel are the only coaches near that flight.. why not fly directly into san diego if hes is going to get hoke?

Santa Ana is not that far from San Diego, maybe a 60 mile drive...

I doubt we would go after Kiffin. He is a walking violation and Michigan apparently wants Mr. Squeaky Clean.

Agreed.

The flight plan was filed less than an hour after LSU made the official announcement that Miles was staying.

I think Miles told Brandon last night "Let me sleep on it and talk to my agent and my family."

What if any contact Miles had last night with Alleva or anybody from LSU we may never know. I'd like to think Alleva and/or Skip chatted with him and gave him the loyalty reassurance and vote of confidence Miles apparently needed to stay at LSU.

Miles is an improved version of Cholly Mac. People who hated Cholly Mac or wanted him gone probably will never fully warm to Miles either. With any luck, Miles may develop into to what the Skipper was for the baseball program. We can hope anyway. And as I recall, LSU fans often were impatient and short fused with Bertman's stumbling during the regular season. But football is a way different animal -- no room for error in the regular season if you want to win the natty and 100x more attention than baseball will ever get. But every football coach could empathize with Miles' plea for more patience going forward.
