The Dolphins won’t be making a head coaching change this offseason, but they are going to be looking for a new offensive coordinator.

According to multiple reports, the Dolphins have fired Chad O’Shea. O’Shea joined the staff last year and worked with head coach Brian Flores in New England before coming to Miami.

The Dolphins were 25th in points scored and dead last in the league in rushing during the 2019 season. Their passing numbers were stronger, but it seems Flores wanted to move in a different direction for his second season.

Whoa that’s weird. They actually finished off the season very well on offense.

If McDaniels does leave, pats could go grab O’Shea, who spent a over a decade in NE

Maybe they feel like they can land a bigger fish with the job Flores did with such a shite roster. Kinda sucks that this dude was brought into a shite roster and then canned though. Thought the job all around was fairly admirable.

Dolphins Fire 1st Year OC

Forward this on to Joe Brady. He's got better job security here at LSU than he would with any NFL team.

Job security means zero to a guy his age. He's making money and building resume.

Pretty strange. Either he and Flores don’t see eye to eye or they have someone they think is better lined up. Jim Caldwell was supposed to be the OC last year but couldn’t take the job because of his health.

They should try to see if they can get his brother Kevin from the Cowboys.

Which he is doing. What does "fired after 1 year of trying to be an OC in the NFL" do for a resume exactly?

i cant see how anyone could look at the job he did with limited resources and they traded away much of the little talent he had to work with, and then say we can go get someone who could have done better then that

i doubt there are more then a handful of OC who could do as well with so little and the few that could arent going anywhere anytime soon

this time next year they will be begging to have someone half as good as he was
