Not nearly enough, I don't think.

It'd have to be Mike Price type shite to get rid of him

Do this and you won't get a decent coach to come anywhere near BR for an interview.

Not saying Miles should stay or go, but the above myth is the most over used falsehood on the rant.

Absolutely not. Like it or not Les is here and let's be honest. A coach that goes 10(probably)& 3 and finishes the season in the top 10 with his record at LSU should not be fired. Who would want to coach a school like that. Stoops lost 5 games this year - like us last year -- and he's the top candidate for ND.

Nobody LSU hires will make that much. Unless they win the national title.....with Les' recruits.

Road, while I agree nothing is in the works to specifically fire Miles, depending on how deep this goes and how long he's had knowledge, it could be an option LATER, but not at this moment.

Some people have mentioned on here that they've been told Miles and Alleva are not fond of one another and that Alleva told Miles to fire McCarthy when he found out about these "improprieties", and Miles refused to not lose recruits/continuutity/stability. If that is true, then something MAY come from that, but at most it would be a bargaining chip in lowering his buyout to a compromise between the two sides.

All that said, Les isn't going anywhere people, not for another year.

this is so frustrating to hear. yes, he has 10 wins but how many have been big, decisive wins? maybe 2? ill give you auburn and tulane. the rest we just looked decent at best. Talent alone is keeping the losses close. Hell, we struggled to beat a 3 win La tech team. We nearly lost to Moo State whose only one of two SEC teams NOT bowl eligible. Its not just strictly wins/losses you can look at. Look at the past two years. with Les' players. 0-2 vs. Meyer, Saban, and Nutt, and pulled two wins out of our arse against Ole Miss and Arkansas. Say what you will but this LSU team is not where it should be. We should strive for dominance and competitiveness, not mediocrity

DanglingFury, I am not saying its fact, but pointing out that even IF it were true, there would have to be a lot of dumb shite Les did in this to have him fired and eliminate his buyout. It's not happening.

Again, if he gets fired over this, which would be stupid unless its a major violation, then he'd get a settlement for the buyout for sure and not get nothing.

That said again, he's not going anywhere until AT LEAST after next season.

None, but I know a whole bunch about economics and finance.
