Does the shittiness of Baton Rouge hurt the search?

Great facilities and easy recruiting only go so far
At some point you gotta think about quality of life for your family.
10 million a year in SoCal seems better than 10 million a year in Baton frickin Rouge

Didn't hurt Tuscaloosa or College Station

Mel Tucker might be the only one left who would live in Baton Rouge.

our fan base is much worse than USC. Every coach knows if they have a bad season here there will be calls for his head from the majority of us

Looming sanctions are the bigger overlooked problem

I started the same thread and got a mix of agreement and shat on. I think it's more so the louisiana dirty politics than anything.

Compared to LA? Raising your family stepping over homeless junkies doesn’t seem like the move either

They weren’t competing with Los Angeles

College Station is an eyesore but it's a clean eyesore.

Yes, it has to. Makes no sense that we can’t get a big name coach. Elections have consequences

Yes. No one wants to live in Baton Rouge.
