He seems to be a bit of an unimpressive hire. With so many young and physically elite receivers such as Davis, Dee Anderson, Stephen Sullivan and Derrick Dillion, they do not seem to be developing like they should. Some sloppy routes and a failure to high-point and fight for the ball are some things I've noticed.

Does he keep his job?

Is his main attribute his recruiting ties?

Was hoping not but you don’t wanna piss off the Nola high school coaches for the second time in two yrs. Another boneheaded decision by O that he hired Joseph in the first place. Now he’s thinking about promoting Ensminger to permanent OC. Crazy times.

Was just about to say it’d probably somehow make lsu’s standing in Nola worse than it is now

Probably right. It just pains me to see the untapped talent that we have at the receiver position not be able to fight for balls in the air or run a crisp, smooth routes. We could be doing better in that area I believe.

We could fire him but then we’d have to hire another unqualified NOLA coach to take his place so as to not upset a handful of pissy coaches. Most major programs would do this as well....

It was a terrible hire, and a consultant had to be brought in for fall camp to teach Joseph how to coach WR’s. And he hasn’t exactly been the great recruiter of Nola he was said to be.

I would love to have Craig buster davis as wr coach. I know it's not realistic to be lsu wr coach with no experience coaching but he would be great. He is young, a New Orleans native who went to O Perry Walker who played under frank Wilson, a former lsu standout wr from 03-06, he would relate to the New Orleans inner city kids and New Orleans public high school coaches. Derek Ponamsky make it happen!

Joseph was brought in strictly for recruiting purposes. According to Jimmy Smith, Joseph has LSU back in the good graces of the NOLA coaches.

you'd really think they'd all be licking our arse in hopes of maybe becoming the next frank wilson. instead they're salty despite LSU far and away being the program that gives nola coaches their shot (and handsome raises)

So our WRs get to be woefully under coached to appease a couple of clowns that over value their importance? That’s cool.

I hope not but LA politics will keep him. When his brother gets fired from broncos next year then we can fire him

Dee Anderson was hurt all year, Dillon made nice plays when thrown the ball, Dullivan stepped up towards the end of the season and Drake Davis just isn’t very good at football yet.

He shouldn't keep his job. (Never should've been hired in the first place)

MJ has no clue how to tech coach WR's. (And you simply can't have that at this critical position)

He's strictly a recruiter for NOLA.

Dameyune Craig 2.0.

We'll see if O is serious about evolving the program to another level. If he is, MJ and JG will be fired as soon as the Bowl game is over.

I'm sure all the MA's and Cheerleaders are perfectly satisfied though. They could care less about an SEC Championship and could care less if a critical position like WR is being developed to the maximum potential of the athletes...............
