Does Michigan really want Harbaugh

I think the NFL is where he really wants to be.
Does he go to Michigan for 3/4 years and bolt to NFL - is that what Michigan wants. Harbaugh has done great at Stanford but when you have a Andrew Luck and your schedule is really soft what do we really know about Harbaugh.
As far as Miles, he would be another Lloyd Carr to them and that's just not good enough.

have you seen the complete transformation of that program under harbaugh? they are without a doubt the most physical team out west and their schedule really isn't that soft. I think they'd be able to compete with most teams in the country.

we know he took over the worst BCS program in the country and in 4 years went from 1-11 to 11-1 and and in the top 10 in recruiting for a next year at a school where the recruiting pool is tiny

has to be one of the best coaching jobs of all time, IMO. turning a perennial loser into a potential beast?

They would love to have him, but he won't leave Stanford for another FBS school. NFL or bust...

Dude, he was one of the best QB's at Michigan ever - why do you think he would want the NFL? Has he expressed interest in the league?

Given the lifelong competition between the two brothers, I have to think Jim wants to join John in the NFL and go head to head. Anyone read that SI feature on them a while back?

It's a fact that he wants an NFL job. But with the bad hires in Saban, Davis, and Spurrier, I don't expect many teams to go after a college coach without much NFL experience.
