I would agree. Just hope they lose soon so we can get this thing really fired up. I would think them making the playoffs would cause him to say no.

That is stupid if true. It tells politics is ruling this.

How do you come to that conclusion? Raymond and Faulk are kind of iconic, for different reasons, within the LSU football program. You don't think they should be retained, or are you upset that they are keeping them without letting the coach decide?

This should irrelevant when comes to hiring a coach.

I am all for keeping Raymond, his track record recruiting and coaching speaks for itself. I would think that any coach would want to keep him. I still think it should be his call. As far as faulk, what makes him iconic as a player doesn't make him iconic as a coach. We don't really how good of a coach he is. If the new coach wants to keep him, great but it shouldn't be mandated that faulk is hired.

Most schools don’t have a dedicated ST coach, so probably no.

I don't completely disagree with you here. However I think keeping Faulk is good for the brand and recruits. Will he stay as RB coach? who knows. Maybe he stays on but in a different capacity but not as a position coach. It does sound bad to force a coach to accept current staff members but ultimately it may not be that big of a deal

Oklahoma sits behind five 1 loss teams in the CFP rankings.

Even if they win out, there's a pretty good chance that they're not getting in.

I'd be good with Jimbo staying and keeping Faulk. Could be interesting on the sidelines.

Tis is true. Maybe we will know after the Big 12 Championship. I would think it's trending positively if he hasn't said no after all these weeks.

Maybe I should have clarified. I am not saying KF should be ran off. If the new coach doesn’t want him on staff as a coach there are plenty of roles he can fill. He would perfect for that liaison position that Baglio held for so long. My point is I think the new coach should have full autonomy when it comes to his staff. Most coaches aren’t going to take a job that forces staff members onto them. This is why Napier turned down Auburn last year.

Mickey Joseph needs to remain on staff along with Faulk and Raymond.

If I had to guess it would be Raymond, McMahon, and Davis as asst. coaches. Faulk may return to an admin role but highly doubt he remains as a position coach.

Mickey needs to go. Hes a poor WR coach and he's a liability on the staff by needing orhers to help coach WR'S. Faulk isn't experienced as a RB coach and needs to return to an admin role. The time for feel good hires is over experience is needed.

Joseph is a good WR coach and one of the best recruiters on the staff

May be a good recruiter but not a WR coach. Jerry Sullivan then Brady worked with the receivers. So if Joseph is that good why hire extra WR coaches?
