While Miles was at Okla St
Did he make any coaching changes?
How long did his coaching staff stay intact?
I find it interesting that I am beginning to get the feeling that he is out of his element by having to make a decision to let some of his friends go and make better for the program.
Hell why not just bring in a DC and help assist coach in the bowl game and still give everyone their bonus checks.

Good point. I mean, he obvioiusly doesn't care about winning games or retaining a multi-million dollar job. I mean, he just fell into this job without any history of being a position coach, coordinator or head coach in college or pros. He obviously is clueless and has no idea what to do, so he'll probably just stake his entire football career, reputation and earning ability on keeping his "buddies" around to drink beer and shoot the shite with. Sounds right to me.
You people really need get over yourselves and STFU! This coach gave you a MNC last year, with players most of which he recruited and all of which were coached up by him and guys he hired. It is flat out embarrassing and it's unfortunate that the team and staff probably assume that the morons on this board and the radio shows represent LSU's fanbase. I assure you they don't.
I couldn't be prouder of LSU and the past 8 years of football here are the stuff 99% of college football fans would give anything to experience. And, as Miles continues to recruit the best talent in the country and has indicated that "adjustments" will be made, I choose to support him and assume the team will improve and return to where it has been the last few years.

Ty Willingham could have coached the 07' and 06' teams to the BCS championship.

I hope you are trying to be funny, but it's a lame attempt. Look at the Rivals team recruiting rankings for the past 5-8 years. LSU has not been the number 1 class every year, and in most years not in the top 5. Many teams in those top classes, Tennessee, Michigan, Florida State, for example, have dropped off significantly and done horribly in that time frame. Others that are always there, USC, Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio State for example, have not won two BCS championships.
Anybody that thinks that talent alone wins anything, much less championships, is clueless. Those same people claim that our talent was too good this year for us to have a 7 win season, so the coaches screwed it up. You can't have it both ways. The 07 team didn't win on talent alone, just as the 08 team didn't lose on coaching alone.

Tig69- You make much too much sense to be posting on these boards. Madisonville- damn. It's been years since I've had a Badeaux's fix. Keep up the good posting.

Does everyone believe this to be the case? Just think about the big picture here and ask yourself if that really has any bearing on this situation.
