Do you really think we fired Miles mid season without having another coach?

I mean, after what happened last season, do you think we just fired Miles mid season without having a coach basically locked up?
Or, do you think that Orgeron really had a chance?
Or, was Orgeron in on the whole thing, was promised $750K for doing a good job, and this whole thing was essentially settled a couple of months ago?
Thoughts?

Yes.
I think Alleva was hoping (praying) that Orgeron would either go undefeated or get only one loss so that it would be an easy transition to sell to the fanbase.....

Guys, we have had Herman on the hook since the beginning of the year. All of this stuff will be resolved shortly. Yes, there's a reason why we reached out to Jimbo because of the uncertainty about Texas and whether or not they could get Herman but rest assured everything will be fine. At this point Jimbo is actually the fallback option and with things coming to light its looking better and better for Herman to LSU. I think the way Texas is acting assures that we have Herman locked up.
