Players that we recruit in the south are really going to say" I want to play for him" our recruits are alot different than Notre Dame recruits. His big game results are bad. How many times do you see Notre Dame rank and think way to high, overrated. The same of the coach. Do they open up the offense, nope. Going back in time

A lot apparently because ND has consistently had great recruiting classes under Kelly. He has always been a good recruiter.
