He was an offensive assistant at Baylor from 2008-2011.

Took HC job at Eastern Illinois in 2012. Went 7-5 then 12-2 with a conference record of 14-1.

Then took HC job at Bowling Green and went 8-6 then 10-3 with a conference record of 12-4.

He's in his third year at Syracuse. Went 4-8 in both of his first two years, but is currently sitting at 8 wins. If Syracuse beats BC tomorrow to get to 9, it will be their first 9+ win season since 2001.

He’s in a pretty good spot where what hes doing now will earn him a nice extension and where 7-8 wins is a good year. I could see some teams approach him but I’d stay put unless he’s gets an offer just unpassable

He’s in a good spot unless he gets approached for a big job like Florida State or tOSU or something.

I wonder if he has any NFL interest?

Yikes. That's a mighty jump IMO. I think he's a better fit where he is at. Nothing wrong with building Syracuse and being there for 10 years.

But LSU did hire Ed so...

He’s 57, so his window for getting an offer like that is closing fast. What if he got an offer from a school like UNC or Colorado? I think he would have a better shot to win championships at those schools than Syracuse. Not saying he should definitely take an offer like that. I think it would be cool to see him stay at Syracuse and make them a perennial top 25 type team.

I certainly don't. Those would be lateral moves at best.

I guess people like him because he is black. He had like two 4 win seasons, and only beats unranked teams.

Outside of Doug Marrone's era, Syrcause has been dogshit. He's done a nice job there.

His daughter played volleyball at TAMU. Could be their cheap hire when Jimbo crashes and burns.

So a three year rebuild is not enough for you?
Done it everywhere he has gone.

Syracuse won today. Now has a chance to get to ten wins for the second time over the last 25 years.

Who do you think can get 4* and 5* guys to play in Syracuse in this day and age?
