Did we ever find out the jobs Canada reportedly turned down?

No, that info was not made public. If you do some research on our new OC, you'll be very impressed with the multiplicity that he can bring to the offense.

I was told Bama offered, but he didn't feel like he would be free to run the offense as he would at LSU. I am guessing about OM wanting him, but given they hired just after us you'd think they would have at least reached out.

Why would he burn bridges by letting that info slip out? I'd question his intelligence if he did so. He's a good OC. Stop being insecure.

I would guess a few schools called. Just by seeing the coaching board, you can see where the vacancies were.

Not saying it wasn't Bama but it's unlikely. Most thought Sark getting hired a year ago was for that very reason. Sark is now OC at Bama.
Canada seems like a great hire and an improvement from anything you've had lately. Enjoy it and be excited about your future .....he didn't have to turn Bama down to be a great hire.

Shouldn't really matter who else courted Canada. Coach O made a great hire!

He turned down 5 NFL Head coaching job, 10 college head coaching jobs, 100 offers to be OC other then Pitt and LSU. Then he chose LSU.

I agree. Sark has been in the works all along for bama. Canada probably got offers but not from bama imo. Too easy od a transition for many reason to see sark made sense. Now if he relapsed maybe but if that were the case he would've been gone. Lsu and bama now have two of the best OC's n the country. Ppl can say what they want about sark but his numbers speak for themselves at USC as an OC especially
