Did OM publicly say that if Lane takes another job, they will not let him coach playoffs?

I have heard this. And thus far have taken it as a far-gone conclusion. I think one of the OM reporters brought it up & I don't think they or Lane was clear on it.
Could Lane force the issue & say I am taking the LSU job & want to coach the playoff run? I also heard LSU said they'll wait (& I see no downside to this).

No. According to the announcers today the AD told them that would be something that could be on the table. OM shouldn't allow it IMO

Once he accepts another job, OM will move on. As they should. A HC is either all in, or out.
