We were recruiting him and we were one of his top three, but he never committed to LSU.
Lavell Hawkins did sign and come to campus, but left the next day.

No. There were a lot o rumors around the USAAA game that he and Perrilloux might want to go tithe same school, but that was it.

If anything he was a USC lean. He wanted a guaranteed starting spot on our 05 team no less. Obviously that wasnt guaranteed so he wen to Cal where the spot was his

hawkins was here for a year and then left. he was part of a group of wrs that didn't do anything for LSU.hawkins,amp hill, and the X-Man.
