It's completely fine if they want to hire Pelini but if he thinks he's going to bring guys like his brother over he can frick right off. Seriously. Bye. LSU is not a charity. If they want to put him in a position to take care of him not on staff...by all means do so. Our staff is getting really barren with great recruiters now. We need young hard recruiters.

I think Busch is going to leave next another great recruiter. All these departures are coming at a bad time when we need to close out our recruiting.

If we get pelini and Curtis johnson the average of our main staff will have gone from mid 40’s to late 50’s
I don’t get why this means so much to some of you.

Do you think it’s easier for a 17r old to bond with a guy that played for LSU recently or 65yr Old Bill Johnson

Do you think the WR’s texted & chummed it up with Jerry Sullivan like they were doing with joe Brady?

Mainly because Curtis Johnson would be a shitty hire. Everyone wants to be politically correct but he’s a shitty fricking coach. The Saints WRs such outside of Mike Thomas. Tulane sucked balls too.

Obviously you don't follow recruiting then or understand how it works.

I truly think this move is to appease Bo to bring his brother or some of his staff.

I mean meatball was out recruiting for us this entire week and it was probably on the fence.

that actually makes a lot more sense to Meatball waffling

frick Bo and his staff. LSU is not obligated to take anyone and they shouldn't be needing to deal with this. I hope this is not true. It's a huge mistake if they do this I don't care what O has done up to this point we've lost some great coaches that are not being replaced yet and they definitely don't need to be replaced with taking care of some family members to please Bo. Make a run at different DCs are willing to let us put the best staff we can get. We're not a charity. It's not LSU's responsibility or Youngstown to take care of Bo's bro. frick that.

I’ll be pissed if we tell Busch to kick rocks for Bo and his staff.

No reason, just pure speculation. Seems Aranda wants him pretty badly on his staff and he's that's his boy. Not sure they can get him at this point though if they're offering the same position as LSU. Unless they come up with an absurd number for him being a position coach. Did they hire their DC yet?

Not that it means much given how many conflicting reports there have been, but Busch is expected to remain on staff

I just hope we aren’t glancing past elite candidates because “they might not be here more than 1-2 years.” Hire the best.

I think they give Busch the associate HC title that Aramda had & give him a bump
