Ryans Going for the hat trick…let’s see if the organization actually helps their coach build a team this time.

DM has a quite a hill to climb but he’ll improve things from Lovie.

Kind of excited to see what he can do. Getting blown out in the playoff wasn’t a good way to leave SF but it appears he already had one foot out the door.

Well... since they were on their 3rd string QB and he tore his UCL in that game.. I wouldn't say getting blown out was really on Ryans, just bad luck.

Hope he has success in Houston but that organization doesn't seem to know what it takes to win.

It has been largely a clown show. However they did make the playoffs several times with O Brien including seasons with Brian Hoyer and Broc k Osweiler

The biggest issue has been front office decisions and that does reflect on the ownership which unfortunately has not changed. The last 2 coaching hires were really a joke and seemed like no one else would take the job, especially Culley.

BOB made some terrible trades that put them in a bad position. That is behind them now and they with the Watson trade they do have a lot of draft picks the next couple of years. Last years draft appears to be good one. So some reason to have cautious optimism that they have at least a competent GM. This is a a close to home run hire as you can hope for, young up coming coach and with his ties to the franchise as a beloved former player, he has full support of pretty much every one. Now they need to hit on this draft, hopefully they find their QB and hit on their other picks in the top 100.

I feel like the Texans have been tanking for four or five years now. It will be interesting to see how much time they give him. Robert Saleh, the former 49ers DC, has gone 11-23 the last two years with the Jets. Wondering if the Texans plan on sticking with Ryans that long with those kind of results.
