There’s something called professionalism and etiquette. You’re supposed to have some decorum in how you deal with these things.

It’s out of respect for all involved. Of course Deion doesn’t get that. It’s about Deion and nobody else. Always has been always will be.

He was a great player, might be a great coach, but he is also a self-absorbed human being.

All of those things can be true.

Well one manages to do it at the level of highest competition of CFB where the playing field is fairly even, versus one doing it at a level where the quality of competition is marginally better than NAIA and a few big time athletes can easily separate one team from the rest.

I wonder if he will do that hat trick.

You're trying to say Sabans teams are fairly even on the playing field with his opponents? Wtf no. He plays 2 to 3 teams a year that could be considered an even playing field. That's kind of a stretch there because he will be favored in those games also.

Saban being the goat is largely because he's always had the best players. Same as other goat coaches

You missed the point. Saban is at a premier school in a premier conference. Every kid wants a chance to play at these types of schools. So Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, and non-SEC P5's pretty much have their pick of the litter when it comes to recruiting. Plus everyone has highly qualified coaching staffs. So yes, it's an even playing field.

JSU is an HBCU playing in one of the worst FCS conferences. High profile recruits are actively AVOIDING these types of schools because they rarely lead to the NFL. In this situation one school with multiple guys that could have gone Power 5 and several FBS/NFL caliber coaches has a massive advantage over the others.

So the Saban/Sanders comparison is apples and oranges.

Doesn’t matter the level it’s done at. Saban stacks his roster. His rosters have been significantly better than everyone’s for the last 15 years and it’s not close.

Sanders has 1 5*, a couple 4’s, and a couple 3’s. That’s a few players on one side of the ball. Last I checked, there’s 11 players on each side. So 22 players needed.

That’s far from fielding a 1st and 2nd team on both sides of the ball with nothing but 5’s and 4’s.

I’m hearing that Primetime aka Deion Sanders will in fact be leaving JSU after this season. It’s come down to two teams, Colorado & Cinci. I’m also hearing that it’s “95% a done deal” he goes to Boulder next year ?? PAC-12 about to get real interesting with the Transfer Portal!

He probably knows where he is going already, he is just being respectful to his current job to finish out the last game against Southern then will announce next week.

Then he probably shouldn't be going around boasting about all the different schools that are offering him jobs and he's just got to decide who he wants.

Not sure why he chose CU. Cincinnati would have been more than ideal

I bet some of it has to do with what Colorado was willing to allow him to do. Colorado is desperate for success and they don't have a ton of program support and Deion knows that.

Maybe there were things like...his daughter being allowed to play for the basketball team...his sons being allowed access around the program whenever they wanted...being allowed certain periods away from the program etc.

I’d have to believe so, considering Prime was the reason he went to JSU.

I believe he pulls Denver Harris from TAMU as well
