I think the biggest issue is top names it's not appealing to come in and just coach DTs especially if they're trying to step up in positions. Peoples is a good coach but he's also a problem for hiring top candidates because they likely want full control over their DL to improve their potential for career elevation.

Defensive Line Coach

Chris Kiffin is as accomplished of a coach as LSU can land right now

A former national recruiter of the year (check)
Coached in the SEC (check)
Former NFL position coach (check)

So LSU is in good hands at the position no matter, even if Kiffin can’t find someone else that would be an upgrade over his brother.

I don’t think we can carry the same thought process of on field coaches to this staff. The DLine coach will coach everyone, because we now have Inside and Outside WR coaches.

Cam Jordan did not like him as a DL coach. A future NFL HOFer's opinion is good enough for me.

O is the obvious answer. I don’t care about his post-championship crisis, the man is an elite Dline coach and recruiter who also helmed the greatest season in college football history.

Nah, that's not true. Peoples will coach the ends and the new coach will coach tackles.

Doesn't matter. A lot of top teams have 2 d line coaches. You just give them a title and more money. Erin henderson has the d line title and whatever else but usc also has an ends coach.

Kyle wants to fish and golf.

He was always a 1 year rental after Bo left us in spring. Mother university called Kyle home
