It's better than Starkville.
If you did the ROI on replacing tires, rims, shocks, cars and all by living in Jackson, surely you would leave if you could afford to. Most people that could afford it, left Jackson long ago.

I'm sitting on the Reservoir, dawg. I'd rather be here than in the cowshit capital of the world.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Jackson too.

I lived in Ridgeland mostly so my car was fine. Jackson does suck, just not as bad as Starkville does

There's high end neighborhoods, rich people, and elite private schools for your kids everywhere.

I was damn close to moving to that area in 2010. I spent a Saturday looking at homes and I don't remember exactly where I was but I crossed interstate somewhere and I went from Whole Foods and Best Buy to a gas station with a gravel parking lot and bars on the doors and windows. Blew my mind.

A Miami v. Starkville pissing match. Now I've truly seen everything.

Here's one thing to keep in mind. Mullen is a multi-millionaire. In Starkville, that doesn't get you much, since there is just no market for the kinds of things a multi-millionaire can buy. There's probably less than a dozen in the whole county. That is obviously not true of Miami. I think the pro-Starkville arguments make more sense at $30K and less at $3,000,000.

See that right there is where you messed up. Once you cross over to the west side of the interstate, you're usually not in a good spot.

It wasn't a Miami v. Starkiville pissing match. It was a comparison of Starkville to the city we call Jackson that is but a few more years of the Kenneth Stokes' types of becoming Detroit.

Miami is paradise on earth if you have money, which Mullen has in spades
