Jimbo doesn't have to be sold on LSU. He has always wanted to be the head coach at LSU dating back to 2005.
Circumstances beyond his control are why he has yet to be named HC.
Will this time be different? We shall see.

Aggie ceiling is 8-10 w a year. When Tx hits the sec recruiting in texas will be harder.
We had 2 knuckleheads win nattys here think what an actual coach can do

To answer your question: what can LSU sell….

Need me to post the previous 2 or do you want to compare Trophy rooms?

Am win % vs LSU (37%)
Am win % vs Texas (31%)

Because LSU is not a little brother school in a Starkville esque town with a creepy culture and a Soviet style campus

A legacy of championships
The top football school in the state.
Easier to pull recruits to LSU.

Don’t sell him anything
You can keep him
Didn’t like him as oc here
Didn’t like him at fsu
Don’t like him at faggie
Don’t want him near LSU

He’s already at the top football school in his state.

A team that has won a NC since WWII, Desegregation, Reagan, Y2K and the first Black President.

Then why are you here if no concern? You know aren’t hanging out at Horned Frogs 247 on their search.

Curious what you would use to convince jimbo to leave? He has everything at A&M. Probably the best facilities in the country, a blank check to do whatever he wants, recruiting has been great, He hand picked the AD and the list would go on and on. What would make him leave? Money won’t do it as there just isn’t a scenario where you can pay him more than us.
How many national championships has A&M won since 1939?
How many conference championships since 1998?
I think that is pretty much the explanation.
A&M has a blueprint for wasting money. They don't have a blueprint for winning. Facilities are nice, though. Oregon has those as well.

That 1939 natty for A&M is dubious as USC claims as well. USC crushed the SEC champion Tennessee in the Rose Bowl and were the better team that season.

Going back home. He enjoyed his time here. He has all the money he could ever need, he can afford to go where it makes him happy. I don't know if he's the best fit, or whether he'll actually end up here. But it's not hard to see the attraction.

Texas A&M success is directly related to Texas being bad. Texas improves and A&M will not be as successful. There is no in state school that LSU has to keep an eye on and hope stays a dumpster fire.

Probably nothing materially. It may just come down to where he would rather be. Back when Miles was on his way out and Jimbo was in the mix I knew people who were old hunting buddies of Jimbo's from his prior LSU stint. They told me weeks ahead of the actual termination time for Miles that Jimbo wanted to come back to LSU. For some reason he had or has preference for LSU. Dont know if that is still valid or not.
