Culotta said Kiffin is out after the Tennessee incident

He said this was no fault of his own but going back to Knoxville this past weekend as head coach was the worst thing that could happen to him getting the LSU job. He said with everything that transpired at the end of that game killed his chances of coming to LSU. He said LSU is trying to stay away from that kind of stuff.

Well, that and his track record as a head coach is pathetic.

Not a Kiffen fan but he didn't do anything to incite them. When Saban came back to LSU the first time he got booed but that's all. Tennessee has a reputation for having the worst student section in the SEC. Ole Miss may be douches but there's no reason to think they'd get violent.

Kinda weird. Kiffin has shown people EXACTLY who he is, and has been admirably consistent in doing so. If decision makers learned anything new about him from this past weekend, they clearly haven't been paying attention for the last decade, and have no clue what the hell they are doing. This concerns me immensely.

That’s just stupid if true. Not saying they should hire Kiffen, but he has no control over idiots in the stands. I guess the fans should riot until they get the “right” coach.

One huge takeaway from all of this is how terrible the local media are.

Huh? Kiffin didn't do anything wrong, but Vol fans acting like idiots cost him the LSU job?
If the refs don't spot that 4th and 27 a full yard short of the marker (he was probably short anyway), the fans likely don't lose their minds, and everyone goes home without incident.
Culotta is full of shite, or the person who told him this is retarded.

I would have to think Woodward isn’t even looking Kiffin’s way. At this point in time we need a drama free coach that is well respected, serious, and can run a program without being the butt of national media jokes like Miles and Orgeron. We have got to change the culture of the program because frankly it’s embarrassing and attracting attention from the NCAA.

Heard that and i like jordy, but that comment made no sense. Kiffin may not get this job, but it wont be because of that. He did nothing wrong

Jordy is just trying to cover his backside because he’s been pumping Kiffin since the offseason and Kiffin was never seriously considered bc Woodward and Tate don’t want another guy who’s getting headlines for something off the field.

Culotta doesn't know anything. Neither does Mascona. Neither does any person who has said anything about the coaching search so far, both local and national media. All of these guys are guessing based on what they feel or think. They are just as clueless as we are at the moment.
