That's how it could have happened, or....
The AD talked to RR and everyone assumed he was fired so they reported it prematurely, but the AD wanted to sleep on it. The next day he was confident in his decision and fired RR. He now is contacting individuals but not reporting on it, but hasn't made up his mind on the correct coach yet, but is keeping it hush hush as to not screw over any potential candidates with their current jobs.
Or.....
I could have been Professor Plumb in the ball room with the candle stick.
We really don't know.

I'm going to back peddle. When you initially read something you are pissed off, and probably should cool off before saying anything. I realize that its an ESPN radio rumor and it's probably to be taken with a grain of salt, but this is not the first time I've heard something like this about Hoke being floated around. IF this scenario is truly the case, then no, its not that drastic. If we truly aren't looking at coaches because of things they said (JH) or things they supposedly did 20 plus years ago (Miles) and are settling for a coach that hasn't really proven anything at a major program yet. Sports teams are like multi million dollar corporations. It's kind of hard to send in your donation when you know an organization that has blatantly disregarded its "shareholders" opinions twice now. Then again, it's not the players fault and you do all this to give your support to the players so.
Whatever the case I just really can't believe we would overlook JH, Miles, and other big name coaches for Brady freakin Hoke. I also can't believe that enough big names will turn us down that we'd have to resort to Brady Hoke. Sorry.

It also could be nothing at all like the situation.
Yep.

Seriously man how old are you? Do you think that Michign would fire RR and them turn around and re-hire him? Just reading your posts I have no doubt that you have been fired more than once. I don't know what you really do for a living, but there are procedures that are followed when an executive is fired. Apparently you aren't one or you would have known that. There is a lot more to it than dumping a underperforming prep cook at Popeyes.
The rest of your post is adolescent gibberish. Please stop posting. You add nothing.

Not a credible scenario. One thing I know that is fact: Michigan will not attempt to contact Les Miles before the Cotton Bowl. Any rumor about Miles going to Michigan reported before the bowl game would immediately kill the deal (I'm looking at you ESPN).
Now...after the Cotton Bowl: Miles is going, going...gone.

Im just saying it makes sense to me. Why would they fire a man twice?
A reporter wanted to be the first to report "he is fired"
The report is, the AD heard RR out, slept on it, then fired him

if Miles wants the job, why would this kill the deal

I don't understand the leak killing a deal?
Please explain?

Damn, brah,
lol sorry. I'm not calling you out at all, just saying in general I think it's funny how people automatically assume its a guy because it's a message board.
I figured my knee jerk over-reactionary posts the past few days would have given away that I wasn't one. Unless of course there are frequent posts like that on here. I don't really know, I only come on at the end of the season to see what you all are saying about Miles to Michigan :)

Well, I didn't look at your post history; but, yea, what you said was pretty bitch-like. I just figured you were a pussy, but since you're a woman, I'll cut you some slack.
