He values the respect of Saban and Orgeron. They have greatly impacted his decision to come here.

Absolutely no way he his trolling with those two involved. No way.

string along lsu and Florida for another week, delaying our search

Where's the harm to LSU and UF in delaying the search for another week when, at the end of that week, most coaches will have finished their seasons and the portal does not open for another month?

I wonder what the repercussion would be for Sexton's other clients that Sexton is working hard to place at SEC and other top jobs? Jimmy would have a lot of explaining to do to ADs who had offered top dollar and NIL commitments. Would this be akin to killing the goose that lays the golden eggs? Dowdle and Armstrong would be licking their chops.

I'm on the same page here. Something just feels off. We may end up being at the expense of giant troll.

No, administration of a university should handle all situations with respect. They wouldn't go along with childish games.

That's why they are where they are, and you are on a message board, thinking like an idiot

I don’t think that would work well if lane is pulling some troll job. Right now the only one who looks dumb is ole miss.

Getting the entire OM admin to play along.., string along lsu and Florida for another week, delaying our search

It’s just hard to imagine OM not forcing his hand by now, especially since they are willing to match offers.

I don't think things are all or nothing like people think. You have one camp thinking he's 100% LSU. You have another group that think he's 100% trolling and staying at OM.

The only thing I'm sure of is that Lane Kiffin is a mercenary. If any of this stuff about him being loyal to OM or not wanting to ruin a chance to coach a playoff team were a thing he wouldn't be putting them through this in the first place.

I think he probably has an offer in hand from LSU and right now it's basically a game of chicken to see if OM will match or at least come close at the last hour. If they do he stays, if they don't he goes.

This is rant group think at its finest. A few morons suggest it, and the rest latch on. Kiffin hasn't done anything shady, or wrong, in this process. He has a tough decision to make. If he's trolling then he's screwing over Ole miss in the process.

You do realize that would be an absolute career killer? No one would have him on their coaching list if that is the case.

You are kidding, right?

If he keeps winning, schools will not care
