I think that scares a lot of fans right now. Les can stay and win 11+ next year with the players coming back.
Right now you have those posters saying people are putting Les over the program but then they say if Les comes back they will sell their tickets. I find that funny...

oh that's really unusual for a Miles coached team

Problem is we've been saying this for years now and it never happens. Next year is always the year.

The past 2 years we all said LSU was a 3 loss team. Not many have predicted LSU to be a SEC Championship team.
This whole 1 more year thing seems to be recent, as in since last year.

People wanted him gone in 08 and 09 I know but LSU was doing what everyone expected with the QB's at the time. Same as now imo.

Alabama has only beaten 1 ranked team by the same argument though. I do disagree with a lot of the statements on the last 3. LSU was in position to tie or take the lead in the 3rd quarter of all 3 games. They made mistakes and lost control of the game but the final score means nothing imo. LSU lost but they had a shot until mistakes killed them.

Harris is better than expected as a true sophomore starting, he is only going to get better. No one expected Harris to light the world on fire but I believe he has provided an upgrade from Jennings last year.

Everyone keeps bring up record the last 3 years. People forget that LSU doesn't have the talent gap they used to. Alabama still does but Ole Miss, Florida, A&M, State, and Arkansas are all recruiting better. A&M I think is finally coming to bite us. I made the point when they joined that A&M would take away recruits LSU would have normally got. It has happened, it may only be a couple a year but those couple can be important pieces.

Not going to argue this anymore

but one more point, you can use that the whole the talent gap has shrunk recently. Yeah maybe it has but Bama continues to have the same success despite that. LSU continues to have top 5 recruiting classes. But our success doesn't line up with who we have brought in.

I understand us going 4-4 last year but there is no excuse for how we have looked the last 3 weeks.

getting beat by a combined 52 points over the last 3 weeks is horrible no matter how you spin it.

We looked bad in the 2-4th quarter at Alabama
We looked bad in the 1st and 4th quarter at Ole Miss
We looked bad against Arkansas

LSU got beat can't change it. 3 games isn't enough to fire Les unless Herman is coming.

this is becoming a false narrative, LSU started to really pick up steam as a hot pick to win the NC this year towards the end of the preseason. So let's stop with the he met preseason expectations, it isn't correct and is a dumb line of thinking regardless.

Losing sucks but the way we're losing is the more disheartening part of it all.

He doesn't but neither did Saban until Saban finally let Kiffen take over. It was a huge complaint on Saban for a long time that he didn't adjust from the power run game.

JPW developed under mcelwain who even made mcelroy serviceable and got him drafted. McCarron came along pretty nicely and was already polished once tosh 5.0 arrived. Sabes def opened things up post 11-5-11 the way les should have after 1-9-12. They tweaked their scheme quite a bit last year and looked good with fricking simms ( while we just shoehorn guys into miles' fraidy-cat system) and are poised to play for another title with coker who may be the worst qb of the saban era.

Even in 2013, more often than not our offense was a wing and a prayer with mett slinging a third and a mile to obj or landry. Harris has the arm talent but can't see him progressing in this system... Pretty much everyone has already reached their ceiling.

Rule of thumb in defending someone. Once you have to come up with more than 5 excuses for someone's poor performance, you lost the argument.

I'd love Herman, it would certainly be a risk given the short resume but he's an impressive coach

Les needs to take his hands off the offense... it may or may not happen. Needs to reassign Steele to LB coach and hire a DC

people predict 3-4 losses because they know Miles will slip up against teams like ARK and Ole Miss. You already have to account for 1 loss to Bama. And you know you are getting 2 between OM, Auburn, ARK or Ole Miss

There is winning and losing? I'm having fun just typing, things are more civil here.

I've also been very point on that I think Les should stay unless we get Herman. So I'm not for Les staying because he is Les crowd.
