I like Gruden because you can understand him when he talks, he has great knowledge of the game and I also think he would be a hit with recruits. He's got the intensity you want in a head coach.

yes Gruden has the intensity you want in a head coach, and it's this type you need with kids who are learning. It does not so much work in the NFL with the men who act like kids. Just ask Nick - he found out quick in Miami.

I could imagine a 5* recruit listening to Gruden and then Saban.
Saban: I can get you into the league.
Gruden: I can get you into the league and I can teach you how to WIN in the league once you're there. (as he adjusts his super bowl ring)

No you dont. Cus there are better options out there. Especially on the pipe dream list.
