What if coach goes 6-2 with a win over Bama...I think he could get the job and that means he just needs to hire an OC...someone like Art Briles's son. It kinda checks off a lot of boxes...saves the admin money, you get the offense everybody wants and you keep recruiting together. Just a thought.

I feel the same thing gets said over and over again. LSU will not keep O no matter his record.

I'm thinking 7-1. Even with a win over Bama, 6-2 leaves you at 5-3 in the SEC and at best tied for 3rd. I think he needs to win or tie for the SECw.
We'll know a lot more after watching them the next 2 weeks.

i have thought about this for the past few days and havent posted yet. i like the Herman and Fisher, i think you cant go wrong with either. Herman i like better though.
however, after reading and watching what Coach O and players have responded. i think Coach O
has learbed alot since the Ole Miss gig
what he did at USCe as coach was amazing.

the fact he keeps most of Defense staff
he is trying to amp the offense up, which has Miles agenda drilled in thier head, it will take time and games to get his style learned and operating. i would be completely ok with giving Coach O a shot. even if we dont win every game this season, as long you can see dramatic changes to offense and most importantly, the players stay excited and if they back him
Now i'm sure there will be a debate and i will listening to the views. not the views of the dicks that will pop off everything on here cause they wouldnt do it person.

But if he does make it to the SEC title game after the terrible start under Miles, do you think anyone would still doubt he deserves the job unless Meyer or Saban come begging for it?
