I really don't like Butch Jones. Well, not for UK. As I've said in other threads, I watch a LOT of UC and they have been progressively worse each year since Kelly left.

Bho, you've obviously paid more attention to UC than I have, but his record is quite average for being in the Big East, that's why I think it's a "meh" hire for UK if that is where they go. Last night's game didn't help either.
I'll root for them with him, but it won't affect me that much. I don't think they could hire anyone that would make me renew my season tickets anyway...

I agree with you. I don't like anything about it. I've had discussions with my cousin about BK leaving and BJ now. I don't know that he's not a good coach, but I think BK recruited better. He's pretty good at coming in and being good and go to average over the years. Has anyone considered that this rumor was started to try and get rid of him?
ETA:Lorenzon gave his opinion of BJ today and says he's an excellent hire for UK. I'll defer my lesser football knowledge to him. At the end of the day, I'm supporting the guy as much as I can.
