Chris Low is ESPN's SEC reporter. He said it on the radio, so I do not have a link. As such, it can only be considered a rumor, but as soon as I can get a link, I will get it to you.

Monte - Position Coach and Mentor to Ed and Lane.

It is amazing how this board following the DC has been off almost everyday...This has been about 3 weeks of misery..
This is such a big hire for Miles, going 7-5 really put a doubt in people's mind. I hate that.
I hope to God he comes thur with some blockbuster hires...The LSU defense has to be the best.
Coach O and Walker had a nice feeling about it in my mind.
Today we learn Miles hasn't interviewed Chavis, yet Donnan in Atlanta was reporting it's done about 4 days after the ARk game.
Amazing!
miles must be leaking false info, just to keep everyone off guard "deceptively honest" he warned us day one

whats the difference in being the in wait guy there and staying in La. and being the DL guy here? where you can eventually become the DC or get a DC job somewhere if you do a good job

Well, if Walker is who Les is looking at, he probably wouldn't be here but a couple of years before getting a H.C gig, so O would technically be a DC in waiting here
