Or maybe Kelly just didn't want to coach at UF and has options he thinks are better.

As for Kelly and UF I see one of two options for what happened:

1. Kelly simply doesn't want to be in the SEC. If that's the case, then I don't want him anywhere near UF. We already had one coward in Meyer. Don't need to repeat the trainwreck of Meyer's final 18 months at UF. To save face, since UF will go after Frost and Frost and Kelly have the same firm, the narrative may be that UF is moving on. Later Stricklin will just say the contract terms didn't make sense.

2. Kelly and his agent got stupid greedy. To cover cost of living differential and taxation differential, UCLA has to offer about 30% more than UF (or more). If Kelly and his agent told UF to match UCLA dollar for dollar, then I'm sure UF would tell them to pound sand. UF isn't going to go from say $5m / yr to $7m / yr, just because California is a communist waste land.

Do we even know if Kelly wants to coach next year? I haven't seen any statement from him and I trust 0 of these sports writers

Usually meeting with two separate schools over a week indicates someone is interested in coaching

UF, just go and get Taggart. He might turn out better than Frost and Kelly.

You don’t want CK next door and Taggart up north.

Got this feeling he'll end up there. I get the feeling he'll be the best recruiter out of the 3 and has an amazing staff of recruiters.

I would think Cristobal follows and Woodie but not sure after that.
