Anyway we consider him for Coach, if not then the DC? This guy has a unbelievable resume. He's young and would have a lot of passion to win.

His defense was young this year, wasn't it? Looked stellar last year!

I think he gets many interviews in the next month.

The defense isn't too high in the stat rankings this year, but he had a helluva 'D last year.

#40 in Total Defense
#49 in Scoring
#14 in Rushing Defense
#73 in Pass Defense

Didn't they lose 10 of 11 starters from last year's national championship team?

Look at his entire resume. Just look back to last year how nasty Florida's defense was. He even had good defenses at South Carolina.

He is a good coach but he isn't ready to be a HC at a top program. He needs to take a lower level job to get his feet wet first.

I would sure love to have him on the sidelines at LSU. The guy can coach and recruit... If he had the talent LSU has on defense we wouldn't have surrendered 43 to UK and 50 to Arky.

Fixed it for ya. BTW, how much does Strong make as DC at Florida? It's got to be a good bit.

Also, what are the chances of getting Karl Dunbar back if Pelini leaves?

Strong is another that prefers the dreaded zone defense. I say bring in tyrone nix. he is a local guy (went to southern miss) and does a good job at carolina.

If LSU was to consider a black coach (which I think they should -it IS 2007), then Terry Robiskie and Sly Croom should be talked to also.

Croom will never leave State. Way too much love and respect in that relationship.

CharlesLSU, you are not paying attention.

I said IF they were to consider hiring a Black Man, those are 2 additional names. Croom coached on a Super Bowl winning staff, and made chicken salad out of chicken shite at MSU. Him getting an interview is not as shocking as you make it out to be.

And by the way, it's court, not cort.
