Agreed. Trust me, though, Jimbo isn't nearly as happy at FSU as some would think.

And I'm not sure who wouldn't take an unmatchable $2 million raise for a lateral move.

Yep, there it is. Family vs. the world! FWIW, some of my closest friends went to Auburn and I spend Saturday's watching football with them.

But seriously, most of the LSU fans on here are still butthurt about Tubs and can't seem to let it go even when he's been gone and we're sucking giant donkey dick.

You're a jackass. Especially if you think the majority of fans on here like Auburn.

Get real. What does that matter? FSU had 14 consecutive seasons of 11+ wins. When was the last time Auburn did that?

Auburn has two undefeated seasons since 2004 and a recent national championship. When was the last time FSU did that?

1999.... haven't won the ACC since 2005 (with an 8-5 record).

My in-laws are all serious Auburn fans. Never been a problem. We all pull for the Tigers -especially against the bammers.

jimbo would get swallowed up in the sec west. he's in the best position for him as a coach. i guess he'd follow money, but he can actually win in the acc. unless auburn puts it in his contact that he can't be the oc.

Because the ACC got tougher with Va Tech and Miami joining the conference.

Because Saban and Miles looked like world-beaters at MSU and OSU

That explains why you dominate us in recruiting.

Auburn is a step down.

That record kinda destroys the step down theory.

I think he would consider it,weigh the pros and cons.Go to the top Conference in College Football. As down as Auburn is,they are as old and historically relevant as Football itself. But that doesn't matter to 18 yr old kids.

He would have to dismantle and rebuild Auburn. He waited yrs for the HC job at FSU and I don't think he leaves for a while if ever.jmho

FSU will always put up top 10 recruiting classes. Why in the hell would Jimbo leave to go to Auburn or Arkansas? Both are step downs and the only way I could see it happening would be $$$$$

Isn't Sexton his agent? If so, I don't doubt that his name is in the mix but they'll just use it as leverage for more money at FSU. At FSU he has a better recruiting base and easier conference. Jumping into the frying pan with Bama, LSU, and even A&M right now would not be fun.
