Tuesday, 10:15 a.m.: I'm told Auburn is working on a deal now to bring Chad Morris on board as offensive coordinator. Deal could be made soon, but that's in the hands of lawyers/etc.

Man, Gus really wants to get out of Auburn.

Thought people would be more hyped for this. Before he got to Clemson, Dabo went 4-3, 9-5, and 6-7 in 2.5 years. He won 10 games and their offense exploded immediately

At Clemson
Tahj Boyd #24 in NCAA history in total yards, #19 in TD passes, and #14 in total TDs. Is 1st in total TDs and TD passes in ACC history and 3rd in total yards.

Andre Ellington had 2 consecutive 1000 yard rusher and got drafted

Nuk Hopkins over 3000 career receiving, 27 TDs and 1st round pick

Sammy Watkins nearly 3400 career receiving, 27 TDs and top 5 pick

Martavis Bryant (4th round), starred for a while with the Steelers before he derailed himself off the field

Dwayne Allen 3rd round TE whose one good year was Morris's first year where he posted almost 600 yards and 8 TDs.

Also had other star WRs in Artavis Scott and Mike Williams, before he left.

Morris did this before they had defenses to fall back on

At SMU

Hicks at QB had almost 3600 yards and 33 TDs in 2017 after going for over 2900 yards and 19 TDs as a first year starter.

He had 2 different 1000 yard rushers

Courtland Sutton his WR had over 3200 career yards and 31 career TDs. Was a 2nd round pick.

Trey Quinn (WR), in his only year there had over 1200 yards and 13 TDs getting himself drafted

Don't know what happened at Arkansas, but the guy knows offense. If all he has to do is run the offense, Bo Nix is the perfect type of QB to be groomed for the future and those two WRs they have, have the perfect skillset to explode next year.

Yea, Morris took Clemson's offense from 86 to 23, then 6, then 8. He has clearly had is issues as a HC, but as an OC he was very good.

Realistically, this is probably the best hire we could have. Gus isn't going to venture very much outside of his comfort zone. Morris is hands down the best within Gus's coaching tree for a potential OC candidate.

Better get a thrower. They don’t have one now.

Gus and Chad should make a dynamic duo.

We are. Really looking forward to what Gus and Chad scheme up.

Just have to let the piglets finish their venting.

He misevaluated the QB position multiple times.
