CC board always brings out one of the cringiest aspects of social media

People who are so desperate for respect and/or credibility, that they lie about having insider knowledge.
Just posting lies and opinions as fact, on the off chance it comes to fruition.
Every time I see pathetic posters doing this, I wish TD had a mute function. /rant

It is getting kind of funny watching some guys sit there and pose like they actually do you have info, None of them actually knows no shite but it is entertaining

Agree, but usually they are so desperate they out themselves quickly (usually by sheer volume of posts). Tequila and Objective were easy to identify culprits this cycle and if mods wanted to they could with IP address/alters.
The good sources post less often (TBL/Vol) and are reliable. Everything else is noise, though TB1977 is interesting. I think he’s good, but not having Jimbo in running seems to conflict with most quality speculation. Admitting to sharing accounts is a troll move; he’s tough to figure.

There are a lot of people that throw crap at the wall to see what sticks. But what if some of this information is genuine at the time. Let's say that I know for a fact that LSU is interested in coach X. They really would like to get coach X. I somehow have 1st hand knowledge of this. I come here and bring up his name and discussions are had whether people agree or not. I could even say that they are going to make a strong push to hire him. Say most are really excited about the possibility of hiring him. Meanwhile LSU goes through all channels and eventually even talk directly to coach X. They both then decide mutually that they would rather go in a different direction. Nothing is ever found out officially that any discussion or meeting took place. Coach X wasn't angling for a raise from current employer and LSU doesn't want it to be known that they were turned down. After the hire is made everyone will be all over me for not knowing what the hell I'm talking about and not having any sources.
Some of you know that there are people who at least have an idea of what is going on. Some of you know who's information to trust. There is also a lot of people who don't know a damn thing. People do have credible information that is put out with good intentions that wnds up changing. Hell we've already had a new coach announced at a press conference at LSU only to change his mind the next day. There is disinformation being put out. I don't think we will know who the hire is until it is announced. There are more than a few coaches who will do very well at LSU including winning championships.

Thank you. It's like a middle school girl asking the mean girl clique what she should think.
I'm not as bothered by the fake sauces. It's entertainment to pass the days and nothing they post has any bearing on the final outcome. If people want to believe them that's no skin off my nose, I personally take everything with a huge grain of salt.

Yes it really is funny listening to it all. I’m really good friends with Woodward’s brother. I can tell you no one knows a thing. Including him. There are a select few people in a very tight knit circle involved with this hiring, and it truly is refreshing after that dick with ears AD we had during the last hire. Saying I AM THE SEARCH like he’s judge Dredd. I AM THE LAW

If you want to mute speech, go to fb and Twitter. The comments may be crazy, but we ought not censor them. Everyone is entitled to speak their opinion.
