O's staff > Herman's staff.

The guy coached with Herman at Houston. He obviously knows how good of a coach the guy is.

Or how about the fact they worked together at OSU and Houston?

You Hermanites are hysterical. If we had hired a guy from one of the worst teams in all of college football you'd be freaking out.
Herman hired him and all sorts of reasons why he is a good hire will come out.

Herman will heavily influence the offense. His OC will primarily call the plays centered around the philosophy he wants.
Retarded thread.

imagine the melt if Texas would have hired Orgeron as HC.

Isnt he just the "Passing game Coordinator" ?? I'm sure he's there to balance out and add some wrinkles to Herman's playbook. May call the plays.

Lol, Herman was 2nd on my list. Jimbo, then him. I'm just seeing how obvious this hire is. He's bringing in someone to iron out his system. He's only a OC by name. Herman is running that Offense

I hope Herman fails big time at Texas

Let it go, not like you'll play him every year.

they didn't hire him as the OC. he's joining their staff as a WR coach. why on earth would anyone melt over that?

Pass game coordinator. He knows Hermans offense.

Herman doesn't need an OC idiot
Just like it's irrelevant who Saban hires as DC

I hope he fails at Texas as well,
And even if he died I still think he'd have been tremendous here

Herman's OC isn't as important as O's OC.
Herman is gonna have his own system.
O doesn't have an offensive system.
Herman'a selling point was a brilliant offensive mind not that he would get out of the way of the offense.
