count me in as anti-O. Be nice to keep him on staff but I doubt that will happen

I actually think he stays unless offered a power 5 HC job.

don't know about that. He left USC once he didn't get the job. Granted Jimbo>Helton so his attitude might be different this time around

Wanting a different head coach does not equate to being Anti-O.

1)Kid is playing college ball right down the road

2)Maybe he wants to be in LA at the end of his career and could go out a legend like Pete Jenkins. Don't think that would happen if he pulled stakes and went to a school like Alabama for the same coaching position. I really think he could retire at LSU as legend in the role he was in.

3) I don't see any school paying him as much as LSU does to be Dline/Recruiting coordinator.

Of course, this is all opinion on my part but is also why this could have a different outcome from USC.

O is not unknown. In fact we know more about how he would coach at LSU than any other candidate.

I've seen O at LSU, and his offense gained 125 yards against Alabama.

I've seen Jimbo at LSU, and his offense passed for over 530 yards at Alabama. He won a national title while here at LSU as well.

TEAM JIMBO!

But a Herman hire would have me ultra-excited as well.

Add me to the list

O =/= HC

O on staff as highly paid DL coach and RC - check

To choose O over Jimbo or Herman is mind numbingly short-sighted.

I'm anti-O as frick and I'll be disappointed if I'm not in the top ten. If he's hired, he won't have my support unless he wins a NC. Which he won't. I will support LSU regardless, like have since 09 when I knew Miles wasn't the answer.

I want O on staff, but no way in hell as HC.
Can't believe you people are still vomiting this crap after yesterday's game.

The biggest "told you so" in your scenario would come in a few years when the program is a complete dumpster fire.

But I guess you'd be fine with that as long as you got your O.

We are dangerously close to that now if LSU fricks up this hire.

LSU is a program that is utterly lost on offense and special teams.

We lose a truckload of talent after this season, we still don't have a QB and we have zero idea as to whether Aranda will stay here next year.

Herman
Jimbo
Chip Kelly
